A Daily Thought

Some People Should Never, Ever Quit Their Day Jobs

Kazuki Yamamoto is a Japanese barista who constructs eye-popping works of 3D art using just foam and coffee.

Try Asking for One of These at Starbucks

Within the six years Yamamoto has been working at a coffee shop in Osaka, he’s racked up more than 100,000 Twitter followers obsessed with his latte art.

Yamamoto must work quickly to satisfy customers’ desires for a fresh cup of Joe. He claims he completes each work of art in under four minutes, so the coffee is still hot when he serves it.

  1. Wow! I have seen some of these posted individually on facebook, but never knew where they came from. I am impressed. I am happy if I don’t spill it on me, much less draw some of these amazing things. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Love it as well. To spend the time with the process and create amazing art only to have it dissolve within minutes, now that is admirable. Really brings home it’s all about the journey not the end point. Some of us never get “there.” Your posts have been so inspiring and I send you a huge cyber hug for all you’re doing to increase awareness of our endangered friends. Love to you, Paulette

    • Bless you, my friend. Such very kind words. In truth, I am really enjoying doing the series and have learned so much, Paulette. The sad thing is, although I am up to post no. 65, I’ve barely made a dent.
I see what you mean about the coffee art. I hadn’t thought of it like that before – “the journey not the end point”. Beautifully put, as usual 🙂 I would imagine the appreciation on everyone’s faces must be a joy to him when the coffee is served.
Sending back a huge hug to you for all YOU do for animals in the shelter, and another one for the dogs ~ Amelia 🙂 🙂

  3. Too fun! I love creativity in whatever form it comes! Blessings, Natalie
