Stop the cull crueltly isnt the answer .VACCINATE

This is all so wilfully wrong. It needs to be stopped before any more of these innocent, gentle creatures are made to suffer. It not only illustrates utter stupidity and lack of knowledge, it totally lacks humanity.

  1. Years ago we had an epidemic of rabies in our wild population. The services here dropped food loaded with medication to vaccinate the wild population. That worked once, why not again?

    • It’s quite hard to understand what exactly is going on here. Yours is a great alternative – perhaps they have thought of it.! But whatever they are thinking makes no sense at the moment. Culling badgers won’t stop TB spreading in cattle. They know that. But, we have the NFU (bit like the NRA over there, only with tractors) an incompetent government and a few other undesirables in the mix. All anyone can do is battle on in favour of the poor badgers and hope at some stage common sense and humanity prevail. There! I’ve had my rant. Thanks for coming over, my friend 🙂

      • We go through this periodically with the wolves. Someone is always wanting to shoot something around here for the goofiest reasons. Now we are having problems with the wild horse herds. It seems there are groups that want them gone. No real reason given, just gone.
        Sometimes people just stink!

        • Beggars belief!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, my friend, for my lovely copy of “Pie” and the plaque (and the beautiful inscription). Both arrived this morning. It is so good to have a hard copy. I love eBooks, but, somehow they are just not the same. Pie now has pride of place on my bookshelves and his story will be read again soon. Give him a huge hug for me and slip him some extra carrots with my name on (that bit is important LOL) ❤ to you both.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on this post – why not share them!
